“Hi we’re Tom and Jerry” “I’m Tom and I’m the white goat and I’m the oldest by at least 2 minutes!” “I’m Jerry and I’m the brown and white goat, I may be 2 minutes younger but I’m the cleverest and can climb the highest!” “Together we’re brothers and we came to live at the Knockdrinna Farm last year when we were just babies. Our mum still lives and works for the farmer who produces the milk which the farmshop here uses to make some of its cheese, like the Knockdrinna Gold. We are so proud of our mum as she produced the milk that was used to make the cheese which Her Royal Majesty the Queen of England ate at the State Banquet. The chees is called the Kilree and is sold in the shop; we were so excited it’s almost as good as if mum had met the queen herself!! (Though knowing mum that might not have been a good idea as she done have a reputation for eating handbags and the Queen carries a very nice handbag!!) We love playing games and we especially like it when children come to visit us to say hello and give us a nice rub and pat. The odd treat and tipbit is much appreciated too just don’t tell Robert the farmer as he says it will spoil our dinner!!”

“Hello everyone!!! My name is Lara and I’m the resident sheepdog here at the farm. My job is to help round up all the sheep; I love rounding things up so I also round up that noisy group who call themselves GABA, (who incidentally can’t sing for toffee!!), the ducks and the chickens. This is also my way of helping my master Billy when he has to collect the eggs; I keep the hens out of the way ha ha. I love it when people come to visit the farmshop as I love getting lots of cuddles and pats. Especially if children have come to visit too because we can have a game with a ball, which I love!! Sometimes I might bark and be a bit loud and bouncy but it’s only because I am so excited to be meeting everyone, so I do apologise if I startle anyone as I really don’t mean too.”

“We are the resident gaggle of geese, but we prefer to think of ourselves as ‘GABA’ THE new and up and coming pop band of the waterfowl world!! You can hear us practicing most days whenever anyone comes close to our pen. Our musical heroes are the legendry band ABBA and we get most of our inspiration from them. Tough we do feel that our white/grey and brown outfits are far nicer than some of our hero’s choices. Most of the other animals here are jealous of our musical talents and so they tend to keep their distance. Except for the ducks they are our biggest fans!!! So remember to keep an eye out for us the next time Eurovision comes round, if Dustin can do it so can we!!”

“Just like our namesake, Thelma and Louise we are a really dynamic duo, we arrived here as part of our road trip around Ireland and as we liked this area so much we decided to stay! We are giant Flemish rabbits so we grow really, really big compared to our little cousins you can also see here. Which is great because unlike most women it means that we don’t have to watch our weight too much, our motto is the bigger the better. This means that if you have the odd apple or carrot in your bag you can bring it our way without worrying about ruining our diets!! There is one thing that we have in common with women though and that is that we stamp our feet when we are cross. So if you hear us pound the ground with our hind feet it means that we are either cross or scared and sending out a warning. Generally it is always aimed at Lara who keeps trying to round us up!! So you don’t have to worry children we are not cross with you.”
