Hen Parties

Looking for an alternative activity for you and your hens? Roll up your sleeves and get stuck in as you learn how to make your own cheese at our cheese making facility here in the scenic village of Stoneyford, County Kilkenny – just a stones throw (pardon the pun!) from the famous Mount Juliet Estate, Thomastown – Town of Food winner 2013, and only 10 minutes from Kilkenny city centre.

You’ll learn a brief history of cheese and where it came from, we’ll take you through the various cheese making stages –  from cutting the curd to maturing, and then we’ll sit down to a cheese tasting lunch where you can sample our range of goat, sheep and cow cheeses. You can also browse from our selection of local and artisan products in our Farm Shop.
